Why does the app open Messages instead of sending texts automatically?

Apple does not allow apps to send texts silently or in bulk — it's an anti-spam protection. Commit Central opens your Messages composer prefilled for one coach at a time so each text comes from your own number and lands in your existing thread. You tap Send. It's fast once you're going, and it keeps your outreach personal and legitimate.

Where do the coaches come from? Is there a directory?

There's no coach directory and no bulk import. Commit Central works only from contacts already in your own phone — by design. You stay in control of who you reach out to.

Are coaches' phone numbers stored anywhere?

No. Phone numbers stay on your device and are never uploaded. See our privacy policy for details.

How do I add coaches and players?

Open the app, choose to import from contacts, and pick the people you want to add. You can tag them by school, build groups, and assign players to recruiting pipelines.

Can I send a player's highlight film?

Yes. Add a highlight link to a player, and it's appended automatically when you message coaches about that player.

What devices are supported?

Commit Central is an iPhone app and requires the Messages app to send outreach.
